A VISIT TO SREE PADMANABHASWAMY TEMPLE | ലക്ഷ്മി നായരും പദ്മനാഭസ്വാമിക്ഷേത്രവും തമ്മിലുള്ള ബന്ധം...?

Padmanabhaswamy Temple is located in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India. The temple is built in an intricate fusion of the indigenous Kerala style and the Tamil style (kovil) of architecture associated with the temples located in the neighbouring state of Tamil Nadu, featuring high walls, and a 16th-century Gopuram.The principal deity, Padmanabhaswamy, is enshrined in the "Anantha-sayanam" posture (in the eternal sleep of Yoga-nidra on the serpent Anantha). The Maharajah of Travancore bears the title, "Sree Padmanabhadasa’ (Servant of Lord Padmanabha). The temple stands by the side of a tank, named Padma Theertham (meaning the lotus spring). There are many festivals related to this temple. The major festivals are bi-annual. The Alpashy festival which is in October/November and the Panguni festival which is in Tamil month Panguni, March/April, lasts for 10 days each.

Now my age is above 60 .I enjoyed the festivel at my childhood at the age of 7 or eight.And daily come and bath at pool near by temple. In past years no development like prsent.
