Looks like a very good place. We get used to new stuff very soon. Therefore we tend to forget that "high tech" means a moment in time only always.

It's true. It does seem like those moments in time are becoming shorter and shorter.

Very good video mate. I’ll go along and have a look for myself now you’ve shown me how good it is.

Cool video! The dentists chair reminds me of Cactuar for some strane reason.

I’m old, and can confirm that such saguaro cactus like accessories were common in dentists offices in the 1950s and 1960s. Lots of really cool stuff at the museum and yes, it’s extra cool that everything is kept in working condition. Speaking of that, Herbert, if you read this, the scale railroad engines and stuff reminded me that the Canadian home machinist Quinn is building a working model steam locomotive on her channel Blondiehacks. Making parts on a lathe and milling machine is rather far removed from assembling boxed kits, more like the ultimate in scratchbuilding, but I thought you might be interested to see what’s involved in replicating a functioning locomotive in miniature. Anyway, since I’m several thousand miles from that museum and have zero prospects of ever visiting it, thanks for taking us along. And yes please, more museum visits as your life allows.

That dentist chair was interesting, I wish I'd got a wider shot of it. Turn the lights down a bit though and it becomes terrifying. I think I've seen that channel. I do enjoy some machining and engineering stuff. Even if a lot of it goes in one ear and out the other. Miniature steam engines are endlessly fascinating. Like the full size thing I guess.
