Cassis, Je t'aime. Un bon souvenir de mon père, mon adorable femme. Notre dernier repas ensemble, la bouillabaisse était tellement délicieuse. Merci pour le souvenir d'une vie. Vivre la France de l'Oregon, USA. Hope to see you again in 2021, Cassis.

Mating time for the cicadas, the foreign tourists and the locals. Hard for the foreign tourists to understand that this amazing noise is made by cigale, not seaguls.

Thank you soooo much for this emotional walk down memory lane... I was born in Besançon, France (birth city of Victor Hugo, author of Les Misérables among many others) but during EVERY SINGLE SUMMER since I was born, until I was 17, my family went to spent the whole summer holidays (typically in France the whole month of August or July) in Cassis! And I looooved every summer so much! I deeply fell in love with this little town, its people and their oh so wonderful accent (became close friends with a couple of the local kids my age, even to this day), its beaches, public and hidden (and known only to the locals) and it’s near constant background chant of “cigalles”.😍❤️😍. I am now nearly retired and living in the US since I was 18, but these memories of my “grande vacances” in Cassis are some of my most precious memories ever... Your video took me back to so many feel good places of my childhood i can’t even start telling you... I plan to take my wife to Cassis for a month long vacation as one of the first ways to celebrate our retirement! Thank you again Micheal. I am so very grateful. 🙏🏻😍🙏🏻
