A Walk around Wigan

A beautiful town that I'd never been to before. Lots of construction happening right now, so it's a place of transition. Maybe I'll go back and see what it looks like after all the work is done.

Its lost some vitality over the years but clean tidy nothing looking completely neglected, of course the sunshine helps. I love my home town, hope the levelling money works wonders. I particularly noticed the nightlife area around King street has hollowed out since my day (1990s). Good video.

My home town until I was forced to move away in 1991. I really do miss the place. I came to england to visit my sister in August. We came to Wigan during that visit. It is funny how I was home in the UK but did not feel like I was until I was in Wigan. It most certainly is a wonderland. Seeing all the best buildings getting destroyed is definitely heart wrenching. 😢

I was not aware of the beautiful and sophisticated architectural buildings all over the city. Is magnificent ❤ I will be coming to explore wigan with tm children. Just surreal how we came from building so many beautiful buildings and ended up building the poorest structures in history.
