thank you for sharing... what a cool set up... just curious as to why you don't use "Poultry flooring" ? as is plastic various hole size and can cut to what ever size you wish. They even have plastic Pig flooring that has non- slip nubs on it ... AND myself I did PVC pipe frames for beneath my poultry flooring to make it level and raise a bit... in my tubs for bathing. YEAH HUBBY for doing that plumbing... NOW to get hubby to put those lids on hinges, just have to make a wood frame for you !! LOL LOL YOU SHOULD BE PROUD !!!! nice set up, VERY inspiring !!! AND not everyone can afford to have or do as nice a set up as you have. I enjoy seeing how people raise other species as I can often use their ideas for my projects... and I'm going to use a couple of yours :)

The flooring that I am using came with the brooders. It's cut to fit perfectly :) No real need for anything else for these brooders. I don't want wood frames for the last 2 brooders. Glad you have found some helpful inspiration

Questions! 1.) What feed to you use for your ducklings? 2.) What bands do you use to identify your ducks?

I start ducklings with Mazuri Waterfowl Starter. I use ABA seamless plastic bands for the calls (Size E)

Interesting setup. Don't know your building's orientation to the sun, but, if possible, an opaque panel on the north wall curve past what would be midday on the summer solstice for indirect lighting?

That would work great--but the front door is the north side. I have added an overhead light in there which does provide more light
