I am not sure, if I should hate the interviewer for his countless efforts to impress Kiarostami or thank him for making him talk!!

SURPRISGLY A filmmaker in Iran also believes women are reasons for suffocation! Then he goes on proudly explains even on the sea, they are troubles! What a pathetic soul. And the interviewer; laughs. Also, everyone here is not bothered about it!

I think he was just making a joke, it's not that deep
@antoinepetrov11 ай бұрын
Your comment is reeking of contradictions. First of all, such jokes were still widely accepted in 2003, and not only in Iran are still the norm. Also, your profile picture and name allude to a representation of a woman as idealised and objectified by a man called Botticelli, which is in my opinion even more offensive than the phrase uttered by Kiarostami, one of the great masters of the arts.

It was just a joke. Relax. Everything doesn't need to be taken literally. If that would have been the case, the world would have ended long back. Please Stop suffocating yourself and the others finding literal meaning of every single word. Relax.

Your entire existence is because of your mother, who carried you for long, n went through lots of pain to give birth to you, and for how long nurtured you to grow up??? Big insult to all women, especially your mother. How little you think of your root/yourself?!?!
