Hi Courtney, sorry to see your little ones are sick. A trick I use when we've got the bug I put a cut onion next to their bed while they sleep, it absorbs all the bad stuff in the air. If they've got a bad cough, garlic and horseradish with vitamin c vitamins work wonders. Hope they are well soon xx love your videos too by the way ❤️

Hi! I’m fairly new to your channel. I found you when I was looking at the short videos. I’ve watched a few a your videos now, some going back to a year or more. I enjoy them because you and your husband work hard as a team, doing most of the restoration work of your farm house and seeing the progress that you’ve made. It’s a progression of events, much like one of my favorite KZbin channels, Cog Hill Farms. So many of the KZbin channels show the same daily routine on each video, so yours is a refreshing change.

Just love your videos Courtney! Quick question.. We just planted our garlic today in the NC piedmont area. Just wanted to know the reason for putting the mulch over it ? I assume to protect from the frost coming, but just wanted to see if I needed to do the same.

Hey!! Thanks for being here! Yes, mulching the garlic just helps it stay moist and not dry out during the winter and provide a bit of extra protection! It’s not completely necessary (I didn’t do it my first year growing and my garlic turned out fine).
