Ok, escaping chickens can be kept on ground by clipping thier wings. Not the quill shaft, but the rest of the feathers flights. But just on one wing. They cant get stable flight and crash to ground.grandma had five hundred out back and never lost a one, with only standard chick wire. And for those that can get five foot up anyway, put old bed springs attop posts. Hillarious to watch. God must have made chickens for comedy relief. Bye from california again. Ps. Chickens are a bit one track minded. Stupid at times.

How long do you need to leave the jars turned upside down? Does it matter?

Some people are just jacka$$es in the comments. Obviously we know to water them, it's HOW you water them so that the roots get a good soak.

Or you could get those plant tray liners and attach underneath, and just add water to the tray without having to remove the fern everytime.

A lot of weeds are actually edible & full of vitamins, imo especially large variety of weeds contain vitamin A and other good things for heart health. I know they aren’t great for gardening and it’s usually best to pull them. But I’d always forage for the best edible ones after I’d pull them & separate those out 🥰

I was exhausted watching you go up and down those stairs 😅 what a great idea though, I reckon I'll give this a try when its our summer. Alot of the time people just want to grow a couple of different tomatoes and one pepper rather than a whole bunch of stuff. Hope you did well with your sale after all that effort 😊

What a fun adventure!! Plants looked great!! I’m assuming what didn’t sell will go into your own garden. Win win!!

I recently bought ferns in hanging baskets. I was wondering why with daily watering the water seemed to not soak in while over watering and started getting yellowing. I was contemplating about soaking in a bucket like this, but thought maybe it wasn't a thing that is done. But found this video and I am now reassured that my idea wasn't so far out there. Gonna do this immediately! Thanks 👍🏼

Here in E TN, the Mexican Sunflower, Tithonia, grows as tall as a one story house. The hummingbirds absolutely love them along with the bees and butterflies. If you want to be "hummingbird rich," those sunflowers are going to impress.
