You dont even always hallucinate, I've had sleep paralysis my whole life and only one time did I actually hallucinate. Otherwise its.just you stuck in bed paralyzed completely, knowing that if you could move or just call out or scream it would wake u up, and inevitably if you do try hard enough you will wake up and move or speak.

@@gunpowder-n-lead512 It’s been eight months so I don’t really remember my point, but. Pretty sure it’s the whole “God gave you everything and now humanity is sinful and bad” stuff. Like, the idea of the modern generations becoming increasingly evil and tempting the end of days is something you see sometimes from super conservative Christians. That being said, the counter point to that is the implication throughout the whole thing that God, despite never flat-out eliminating his creations, is still cruel in that he lets them starve. His attention is fickle. It’s sort of weird because the story seems to be uncertain whether to put him in the right or wrong, generally speaking.
