I think A Way Out deserve more than 8.3. Maybe a 9 or more will good enough. Since this is the first time for a long time EA finally give a great move. And since this game is a really great co-op movie-like game. This game deserve more love. I even still don't believe that this is an EA game.

A Way Out could refuel an appetite for split screen co-op gameplay again... It was that good and the game shows how split screen mode should be made. No more hand holding with a single camera setup for co-op. I loved the hospital scene so much and the way a cinematic won't render you both useless unless it actually involves both protagonists in the same shot or sequence.

This game is an underdog for GOTY. Obviously it won’t win, let’s be honest here. But for the storytelling, the emotion, the character development. It really is a wildcard and the different choice options are the icing on the cake. It adds replay ability, oh and did I mention the soundtrack to the game? Overall, a fantastic game and it is a *MUST OWN* and personally is a 10/10 and I’m not comparing it to games like triple A title games but for what the game brings, it is an amazing experience.

If you're looking into playing this game and you have a friend to play with then I STRONGLY recommend it. It is a GREAT game with great story telling and phenomenal camera work that I've never seen on any other game. Me and my buddy were absolutely speechless at the end of this game and how it closes out. Give it a shot you won't regret it.

I went into this game thinking it would be more like Until Dawn, where you have choices. You don't. Every choice has the same result. In the video they say "Knock him out, or fake an illness" Whatever you choose, will get rid of the cop. There are no consequences for making a choice. The guy at the prison who you can mock, or comfort, will never change his mind about you. It just gives you more of a feeling of interaction with the location. It didn't have to be open-world, but a bit less linear would be nice. Say... Choose to dig through the sewer, or sneak through the open field of tall grass, with different problems to tackle, depending on what path you take. Hitman did a great job at this, but was way too open world for this style of play. Army of Two also handled this a interesting way. I think the best example of something like this that gave you choices that matter, was Until Dawn. I still liked playing A Way Out with my girlfriend. We make a great team.

This is my favourite game to play through for the first time *spoilers* The best part IMO is probably the hospital part The worst part IMO is probably the shooting your way through before you kill Harvey This is also my favourite ending to a game through the whole game you learn about there past and motives and you feel like you have a real connection to the both of the characters and there are some hints that one of them will die but I never wanted it to happen like this the ending is heartbreaking it puts Vincent and Leo in a 1 on 1 shootout against each other and as a player you don't want to shoot the other but you also don't want to die because of the connection you have to the both of them but it forces you to try and kill the other to stay alive up until the very end where they end up losing there guns and engage in a brawl with very short clips of them with there family as they beat each other up with the fight at an end they see a gun and bot start crawling towards as you have to constantly press x whoever makes it to the gun first is then forced to aim and shoot the other in the chest they have one more moment together before whoever got shot dies 😭😭😭
