A Wearable WarClub?

Also I forgot to mention the cosmetics of the Thumper because we do everything in 1 take. They are finished in 3 ways:
- Naked hickory immersed in boiled linseed oil, then charred black with a torch. This is a shou sugi ban finish that is very water resistant.
- Naked hickory hand rubbed with a red oil based stain. This originated from a request by a person of Choctaw ancestry-his forefathers allied with the Red Stick faction in the early 19th century conflict, and he wanted a red Thumper.
- Last option is new. The ball section is hand rubbed with red oil based stain. That cures. Then the rest of the Thumper is hand rubbed with boiled linseed oil. After that cures, I then cover the ball section in layered aluminum foil and char the rest of it. The aluminum foil serves to thermally protect the red stain while the rest of the club has the shou sugi ban finish.
Also some customers have modified/decorated their Thumpers via cord wraps with beads or the addition of brass tacks.
