Great looking plants. You got me interested in anthuriums. I need to get planting around all my fruit tress and try to back off watering slowly. I will probably find I can't back off to dry farming tropical in AZ but I'm probably overwatering. Thanks for sharing and all the great insight!

I have very little interest anymore in the rare fruit trees, since I found the rare Aroids, Thank you for the kind words, I am sure we could all cut our water usage back but The desert is tuff, not easy like here. Thank you, good luck…🐸🌱🙏🏼

If you mow you'd lose your organic cert? That's interesting 🤔. We use electric mowers here on my farm and compost clippings or feed to animals. Do you let grow for building soil? Usda gives grants for introducing native species thought you might be interested in that

I could lose certification as it is in our farm plan and counts towards our wild space. In all fairness they probably wouldn’t notice I changed it, depends on how perceptive the certifier is. Tall undisturbed grasslands build soil in sand. Mowing compacts soil which isn’t good for growing long lived trees.🐸
