Tip from a trucker. All Loves have a microwave inside! Also get a loves loyalty card all your fuel and food purchases earn points and can be redeemed for a shower credit. Stay safe and enjoy your travels!❤

RICE COOKER 12 volt plugs into car is What you need . Cooks oatmeal.rice steams vegetables for fajitas or stir fry, slow cook while you drive use crock pot liners no mess or make foil packets for one pot meals no mess just like camping. An awesome meal in can wendy's chili when you don't want to cook ❤

Tip for your ice chest: Find a large plastic, waterproof container (a pitcher with a snap-tight lid works well) and put all the ice in there. When it melts you don’t end up with a soggy mess, and you can drink the ice water!

That's a Brilliant idea! I live full time in my 2004 Toyota Highlander and I haven't used an ice chest because of the mess. I'm going to use your idea this week expecting it to be a Game Changer! Thank you so much!

​@@rickcooper156I also use cups of ice/water in put in the cooler.for example I go to McDonald's i get a cup of ice/water since I don't want it melt fast I put in the cooler than I buy beer and put it in the cooler the beer will stay cold for long periods of time

I use fabric ice bags. When the ice melts, I dump the water into a two gallon jug, or my enema bag (used for washing hair in the car with an inflatable wash basin). I tried using Nalgene bottles, but the ice melts faster and it is harder to fit things with rigid containers. As a bonus, when it is especially hot in the car, you can pull an ice bag out of the cooler to reduce your body temp.

@@giabarrone7422 that's a good idea I thought about soaking a towel in the ice water from the cooler to cool myself down night on hot summer days I don't wana take the time to dry it will prolly start smelling like a wet mop ect. I am gona give it try

I do the oposite put ice in cooler for drinks and plastic container inside with lid and keep the things i dont want to get wet in it 😊

I used to have a trucking business. Truckers use truck stops like their personal kitchen. Don’t be afraid to take your food in and put it in the microwave. I did it all the time and there was often a line to use the microwave.

He's so right! I live by a truck stop. It's my nearest convenience store, emergency shower, gas station and fast food. Truckers do act at home.

It's Nikki's proselyte. I tried doing what you girls do and ended up sleeping in the trunk cause I didn't have those window shades and people were walking around. But I hope it works out and you save a lot of money. With that said, some tips I have will help. A scoop of peanut butter (protein) or a banana is a good easy breakfast plus banana's are cheap and always in season. No mess, cooking, or clean up just peel and go or toss the plastic spoon. If I'm eating out I like Subway and load up the veggies or Panera Bread with their bread bowl soup and apple. Eat fruit that is in season and only eat the pre cut if it's hard to prepare like pineapple or watermelon. The petite carrots are good for snacking or nuts. The Dollar Tree, Wal Mart, and Menards will cover all your needs and are the most economical shopping centers by far. I prefer throw away's for everything from spoons to plates. I'm more like you than your cousin and prefer space over stuff. Travel light with your basics always in stock. Maintain your car well because it's your biggest asset. Oil changes every 3k or 3 months and the 5 dollar wash at Shell's gas station is the best. Buy water by the gallon so it's always available. Hopefully, your channel grows because as I'm typing this there's a video being recommended of a guys reaction to a football game that already has 171k views in 2 days. Anyway, these tips will improve your margins for your job/expense ratio while you travel the summer. Good luck!

The worst part is though. Is somebody breaks your windows and steals all your stuff? This has happened multiple multiple times all over the place. And then you come back and you feel like your trip was not worth. Anything doesn't matter if you lock the windows or not or the car be careful. I've seen this happen a lot of times your laptop. All your stuff is gone

@@jasontomica8938That can happen anywhere, vehicle or sticks-&-bricks home due to the excessive amounts of illegals flooding in & the poor economy. 3M window tint is good at preventing window break-ins. Curt & Snow’s KZbin channel has a good video on 3M window tint & someone tried breaking their Mercedes Van’s window with a brick 🧱 while they were inside sleeping, it kept them safe!!!

If you get a National Park Pass you can stop at them all and head over to their showers. There’s also refrigerator coolers that you could run while the car is on or off one of the battery banks that charges while the car is on or from solar panels while you’re out doing hikes!

You should definitely invest in a Jackery so you have back up power in the car + you can use a kettle etc. I think having a kettle might become very helpful especially in the colder days. + air fryers are getting popular nowadays!

Definitely a Jackery/Bluetti and the Tmobile 5g home internet plugged into that is a game changer. Fast internet with no caps across the entire US for the cost of 2 day passes at a coworking space ($50).

Miss B, it is great you are doing this as you will get to see the U.S. Remember to always be safe, please get yourself a small can of mace, it is good protection when you are hiking alone for either animals or not nice people. Loved this!! This reminds me so much of my time traveling the US in my suv. Best month ever. Tip for showering that is cheaper than Loves: call nearby KOA’s and ask if you can put money in the after hours box for a shower. They always just had me do $5!

I travel and work from our RV on a regular basis, so I can relate to the challenge of finding good internet on the road. Something I've learned is that every city, and nearly every small town will have a local library with a good internet connection. In addition to internet, they are quiet, safe, clean, and often will have a meeting room that you can book if you need one. Best of all, they're free! Safe travels! I look forward to seeing more updates.

Enjoy your journey. Don’t know if your set on seeing certain things and places, but while traveling with my family we make it a habit to stop at the welcome center when you first enter each state and pick up a random flyer of interest and see a place we would not even have known about.

Dear Sarah You're awesome🙂 Measuring cups are a good idea. Love's has microwaves. They sell Coleman electric coolers, so you don't have to buy ice. Plugs into your car. Plus they have other coming devices that plug in too. The one in thinking of that would help you looks like a thermos with a cord on it. It's white with a brown top. Put water in it, plug it in and in a couple of minutes you have hot water. I'm glad to see you're having fun. You're my second favorite channel behind your cousin Nikki🙂😘😎
