I really wish you wouldn't assume that people who don't have the same mobility or flexibility that you do "haven't been working at it" or "don't have it central to their life". It's so nasty and assumes so much about people you don't know. You can't know who in that class may have been recently injured, or has an illness that causes chronic pain, or any other reason that doesn't need to be justified to you, actually. Your parents may have raised you to put health and fitness first but they clearly didn't teach you to be kind and withhold judgement.

I wish more people would see this comment. This is very mean girl of her. She didn’t do the bare minimum of blurring faces out in that class. Some part of me thinks she did that on purpose so that her audience could see the “old people” she references and that her comments are justified. It would never be justified. So out of touch.

I completely agree. This was very “mean girl energy” of her to rant about it. Especially when she’s only been “into fitness” for a year or so? Your parents clearly raised you to understand your physical health and wellness, but they clearly forgot to teach you how to be a decent person.

This actually did irritate me a lot. I never comment on things like this, but judging other people because they’re not up to your “health standards” and even pitying them in a way? You don’t know what medical issues they’re possibly facing, this is probably a big step for them. And to be FILMING it while not blurring their faces? It really saddens me. What if that was MY aunt, or grandmother? That would make them feel awful. I’ve been a follower of Mary for years, and this seems like a big shift from her older content, and not in a great way.

My dog LOVES fetch! 4-5 years ago I got him “chew king” balls off Amazon because they have a hole in the he middle so he can breathe better while playing. I don’t trust the fuzz on tennis balls and I have contamination OCD and these are perfect for washing by hand or in the dishwasher 🙌🏻

Mary I think your OCD tendency of wearing clothing that got Fergus’ fur on it makes total sense and as someone who just prefers cleanliness and isn’t OCD I do the same thing 😂 it’s like not wearing your airplane clothes in bed or having “the chair” where clothes that you’ve only worn once, so they aren’t necessarily dirty, but not clean enough to be put back away.. so they live in this third space like a chair lol

I absolutely love your take on movement! I got diagnosed with fibromyalgia (a muscle pain condition) a couple of years ago and let me tell you, you don't realize how much movement really matters until you aren't able to do it anymore. I wasn't able to walk without a cane for a while. Now, I've gotten better through a mix of medication and different supplements, and I appreciate everything my body can do so much more now. I've picked up running, rock climbing, and typically walk over 10,000 steps. I'm so thankful to get the chance to be active and I hope that more people realize how important it is before it's too late! Sorry for the long-winded comment, but just wanted to share in case it inspires someone else to try and be more active. Even going for walks can make a huge difference ❤
