Would be interested to see a video where you discuss how you balance making more sustainable choices and educating yourself on your own impact on the planet with the decision to fly around the world knowing that travel is so polluting both through fuels and the huge quantity of single-use items involved across the process. (I hope this doesn't come across as snarky, it is a genuine point of interest and I think you could articulate a response well.)

For me, it feels hypocritical of her to talk about sustainability. She cannot use the excuses of but BP created the term carbon footprint. She's likely in the top 1% of wealth in the world, responsible for creating 50% of the world's emissions and even if she's not in the top 1%, she leads a very polluting lifestyle. It's a shame because the Biden administration keeps approving oil and gas fields, most notably Willow project in recent times, so all this feels very greenwashed to me. I think to lead a lifestyle like hers requires an immense amount of cognitive dissonance.

@@kakamaka185 I think a big issue is the notion that saving the planet *requires* giving up a level of comfort -- in my experience, it is not the case 90% of the time. I do not expect influencers to forfeit their luxury apartments and getting their hair done to go live on a mountain foraging berries and milking goats, it does not have to be this extreme loss of enjoyment and identity. It takes a shift in mentality to understand, but we make it seem like a sacrifice when really not doing it is the sacrifice. I would really appreciate hearing Elena address it directly as she does seem conscious about educating herself, even if she has not come to terms with how she directly contributes quite drastically.

About the part of moving out for a bit to just change our surroundings, to grow and ground yourself and to find a place that feels like home. I’m in that very exact moment of life, i just graduated uni and can’t wait to finally move out of my hometown where i’ve been for the past 22 years of my life (all of it lol) and i feel this connection, calling, to go explore the world to find and get to know my own self! And I think this is gonna begin in a completely different continent. So we’ll see where my first solo adventure takes me!! (Any tips and recommendations… are v much accepted!)
