Hi sourdough queen! I’m on my sourdough journey! Just a FYI Some parchment has a temperature limit so might want to check the packaging! Honestly really impressed how that’s only your like 2nd / 3rd loaf girl it took me months to get a really good loaf!

Making sourdough is one of my favorite things to do when I’m struggling. It’s so relaxing and I get in my own little world when I do it. I love that you’re really embracing creating your own things 🩷 It’s so fun and rewarding!

I’m from New York, Long Island and I just want to say your videos are the best part of my day. I can’t wait for your girlies to come to move to New York so hopefully I get to meet you one day. Coincidentally, my best friends boyfriend is from Franklin!!! When I found that out, I freaked out!!! Small world. But I want you both to know that you guys inspire me and help me so much. I’m 22 years old so I feel like I can relate to both of you. Thank you for sharing your life with us. Sending lots of love to you guys.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

It’s def a science to making candles, like the wax needs to be melted to a certain temp for a certain amount of time or it won’t burn properly and you won’t get maximum smell while burning. But you’ve inspired me to try making bread ! You go girl

❤ yes, preheat your pot in the oven and add the raw dough to the hot pot. Also, a flat cutting board would help to cut vs a plate w a lip hehe. AND omg you have to try sourdough bagels now!!
@adyxbow8 ай бұрын
I’ve only made like four loaves but they’ve all been pretty dang good!!! I preheat my oven to 450 with the Dutch oven in there, then drop the dough down on parchment paper, then pour like 1/4 of water around the parchment paper (helps with steam?) then drop the temp down to 400 and bake with lid on for 30, lid off for 20!

Another great gadget for homemade bread is a bow knife for slicing. It might be dramatic to say but it's life changing 😀

Dude regarding the bread, look up a Babka recipe, that’ll give you the swirl, and out like 10x the sugar and cinnamon! I’m getting into making bread too so I’ve been in the same spot!! Edit just saw those final loaves and hey are GORGE - I’m so jealous, I would smash on that bread with some butter - I still recommend the babka tho for a fun project

if you pour half the wax and let it set and then pour the second half that helps with the droopy middle! xo
@claudiaharris8 ай бұрын
You need to let your candles sit for a week before burning so the wax and oil can really bind for max scent, and the proportion for wax to scent varies depending on your wax type/brand but most of the time it’s 10% oil to 1lb (16 oz) of wax, and the oil will say what temperature you should add it to the wax 😊

You are doing the dang Thang! You should definitely make organic soap, and body scrubs, you can use oatmeal, lavender, camomile, basically any spice or herb, even coffee and sugar for an exfoliation scrub! I know you could come up with something perfect, you are so creative❤❤❤❤ love you guys so much!
