A week in the life of a professional wildlife photographer | CBC Creator Network

Photographer Liron Gertsman is on a mission to capture a photo of the white-tailed Ptarmigan, an elusive bird that spends its entire life at high elevations. Gertsman treks to the mountains in British Columbia to try and snap a picture of the white bird in snowy weather.

This was such a fun project to work on! It was only possible due to my amazing colleagues and friends, Jack and Shiun. We spent many exciting but sometimes exhausting days hiking and snowshoeing in the mountains this February! Of course, a huge thank you as well to CBC for their support.

Great video, the photo capture of the Ravens was fantastic. 12 years in for me and I have yet to see a Ptarmigan, of course it would help if I was willing to climb mountains!
