Having just straight up fruit for breakfast in terms of sugar value is basically the same as having a mars bar, it’s all just fast burning energy which will leave you without energy for the rest of the day. Even having it chopped up onto of corn flakes of porridge will make such a difference

I don't know how intensive your college course is, but I recently attended a 7 week writers' workshop (organised by a local charity who help people with mental health problems) and my approach to writing has been completely revolutionised. I didn't think I could discipline the way I write, but I've been able to.churn out different types of poems, essays, critiques on works of art and a modern/futuristic take on a fairy story. In fact, I'm so pleased with the way my post-Apocalyptic version of Sleeping Beauty is going, I'm thinking of seeing if it can be adapted for a performance by the drama workshop I'm now attending after the writers' thing ended.
@joannegray51385 жыл бұрын
I was just wondering how Mike's degree course compared to the 7 weekly sessions I recently attended. Everyone who was there produced a lot of surprisingly enjoyable and insightful, compositions in such a short space of time. We were given "homework" ( no pressure and no pass or fail ultimatums) and a lot of the group have been inspired to such an extent that they are now scribbling down random little bits and pieces that pop into their heads during the day as they go about their everyday lives.

I’m a little confused by this one .... Surely the “10 a day diet” would be 10 fruit and/or veg a day as well as eating your 3 meals a day ... no ? It seems you are just eating 7 fruit and veg for breakfast and lunch (I hate that word 😡) and then having one meal at dinner (tea) time with a protein . You must be starving by dinner (tea) time .... I’m Mancunian by the way we call it breakfast , dinner and tea

@ollieb98755 жыл бұрын
@@OtakuboyT Quite true! Nothing wrong with a bit of crunch on the banana. Personally I think there's a wide range of states the banana can exist in to be not only tolerable but rather palatable indeed!
@FormerRuling5 жыл бұрын
I thought the exact same - like what the fuck is he talking about that Banana is perfectly ripe and good to eat. Its atleast a day or two away from being too ripe. Though I know people that for some reason think the second there's a brown spot on it you have to dump it - they eat then still green and bitter. Blagh.

I'd put either greek yogurt on that salad or a nice ranch dressing. 5:20 You should NEVER reheat rice the following day. You can make yourself very ill by doing that. That's even worse than a simple cold.
@PriyaPans Жыл бұрын
If it's been refrigerated it's okay. But if it hasn't then it's a problem. It's if it's been left all warm, then toxins can build up from bacteria which aren't destroyed on reheating. When food is cooled correctly then put in the fridge it doesn't let the bacteria multiple and make toxins. One bonus about letting rice, pasta, etc cool down and reheat the next day is that the complex carbs change slightly in structure. What that inherently means is that even if you warm up the cooled leftover rice and pasta, is that the carbs have formed into longer chains and starches, which actually reduces the calorie amount.
