Wortley is of our favourites too and just 30mins from our home. For info the working men's club happily welcomes women and dogs to even bring their men along 😃 really is a lovely pub! Also the tea room you walked passed is dog friendly and does lovely cakes !

Bloody work, it always gets in the way!!! Looks like a beautiful weekend. Excellent drying the hair off grid! Looks like a worthwhile piece of kit! Love that you always end up in a pub! After watching this vlog we decided to make this site our first CL trip. It was great and I can report that the pub was very good, We had an excellent Sunday dinner there. Sadly they are closing the site at the end of the month. Apparently they want to reuse the land. Such a shame.

My bike is going to Halfords on Sunday morning, it’s having the new tyre put on, the back tyre has been rattling last week, that needs sorting out, possibly new inner tube as the front has a suspect thorn stuck inside the tyre, and the front mudguard fastener has broke.

The bike is now sorted. Halfords say that when you want new bikes you have to order them, and all their bikes have puncture resistant tyres. When you need new tyres go for Schwabe Marathons they are good.

The front mudguard fasteners are obsolete. You can’t buy them brand new, best bet is to keep looking on Facebook market place or eBay for damaged Pioneers/Arrays and use parts from them.

And for stickers (authentic) there’s a place in Kendal which stocks authentic decals for any make of bike.

Thanks Al! It was easy to fit and we’ve had no bother with it over the five or so years we’ve had it. We got it from Amazon, but sadly we have no idea of the make or model. There’s no stickers or maker’s marks on it at all. Sorry 😢
