Hang out with us for a weekend here on Svalbard! We anchor our boat in front of a massive glaciers for the weekend, to drink coffee, go ice swimming, get glacier ice for drinks and have a really good time, on our new boat here on Svalbard! :)

God I do polar dips where I live in the summer, in the Salmon River but that is insane cold!!!!⛄️❄️⛄️❄️⛄️❄️ Lynn is such an excellent friend she’s the type of friend that everybody wants. Cecilia you are incredibly brave swimming in that sea, though if I was there I would have been joining in with you and your friend. Up until quite recently I have been swimming a lot in the sea as I live right on the Wellington harbour, a beach is 500 m from my front door. The Maori name for the harbour and for Wellington our capital city is Te Whanganui-a-Tara which means the Great Harbour of Tara. We now can see some snow on some of the southern mountain peaks as it’s very early winter. I took a quick dip in the sea last week in 13 c and it was pretty damn cold 🥶 so I can only imagine how invigorating 2 c is. Thanks for the beautiful drone footage and the music, your wonderful photography of everything you see and everywhere you go, and for taking me along, I love it all, you and Grim! Long distance hugs from Lindy here in Aotearoa … the land of the long white cloud.

Cecilia, you have outdone yourself today. What wonderful camera work and you’re right, they are beautiful glaciers. I think Grim is getting more confident with the boat. I think Lim (Lynn?) was a little vlog shy lol, but I have to say her shrimp breakfast baguettes and bacon wrapped hot dogs looked delicious looked delicious. You certainly lived life to the full for the weekend, drank a lot of coffee and I presume enjoyed plenty of captain Morgan rum and coke with your glacier ice, yum. Keep up the vlogs, loving them 👍🏻

Wonderful video Cecilia! Grim obviously had a very good time. What a wonderful mini-trip! (You da Lady!!!) A couple of thoughts...your wood decking - rinse it down daily with fresh water and treat with Thompsons water seal or equivalent every 6 months. For your dingy, always treat the gas with Stabol gas stabilizer or allow the engine to run dry. When transiting in your boat, run at 60% power or less...you'll get ~80% max speed with 1/4 the wear on the engine (basic pump law).

Hmmm....I grew up in Phoenix, Arizona (the southwest desert part of the US) and my family is still there. Today they had 49° C .... I would call that melting 🌞🔥. I live on the East Coast of the US now. We had a high of 29°C...much cooler than Phoenix (but still warm for the northern East Coast).
