Here in Eire ☘️ 🇮🇪 since the past two months to study MSc. Absolutely loving all the glorious Churches. People too are so kind and always polite. So glad KZbin recommended me your channel. So far, I've learned to pray the Lord's prayer in Gaelic. Though improper with the pronunciations. 😅 Ár n-Athair atá ar neamh, Go naofar d'ainim, Go dtagfadh do ríocht, Go ndéantar do thoil ar an talamh mar a dhéantar ar neamh. Ár n-arán laethúil tabhair dúinn inniu, agus maith dúinn ár bhfiacha mar a mhaithimidne dár bhféichiúna féin Ach ná lig sinn i gcathú, ach saor sinn ó olc. Glóir do Dhia an tAthair, agus don Tiarna Íosa Críost an Mac, agus don Spiorad Naomh. Mar a bhí ar dtús, atá anois, agus a bheidh go brách, saol gan deireadh. Amen 🙏

🇮🇪 I love your video ! And I love Oideas Gael... 💚 I spent one week in Ireland last month (I'm French), and I was at Oideas Gael for the St Patrick's Day, I attended a flute workshop for the week-end. It was amazing, and I loved hearing people talking in Irish ! Hope to go there again in the future. 🫶

So glad to finally find some material in this dialect. Is there anything else you'd recommend for it specifically? I've found some facebook groups, but stuff to listen to would be very helpful. Maybe there's some other youtube channels / films? Sadly wasn't taught at school so having to learn Irish the hard way. ://

It's to do with the troubles in Northern Ireland don't take it to be necessarily racist as Ireland is and was occupied by the British and they owned most the power

@@youser1093 Ok. If it means that Ireland should be owned and controlled by the Irish, I fully agree with it. If it means that only Irish people should be living in Ireland, I think it is deeply wrong.

@@jimmorrison2657 Considering the horrific Worldwide upheaval caused by massive migration, it's well past time to quit pretending there is anything vaguely noble about it. It's time to bring it to a screeching halt, and for people seeking a better place to live to build one in their own country.
