You need to hear this : Although i discovered your channel pretty recently, you always give me motivation to study more !! I am preparing myself to enter Veterinary here in Greece and the exams are in 10 days from now. I feel so exhausted and anxious but just by looking at your apartment's décor, I feel better and more calm !! I love the minimalistic aspect of your place and that you use notion to organize your routine. I can literally identify with you in terms of organization and studying. I always want to get more things done but i always do less and that frustrates and disappoints me. So I can definitely empathize you. I absolutely love your channel and I wish you all the best throughout your vet journey. xxxx (Ps it would mean so much if you could wish me good luck) 🤞💕😘

Does learning lessons stick in your head for a long time so you don’t forget. Like one of my fears is stuffing to be a vet, but then forgetting everything I studied/learned in the Long run. Like do the teachers in vet school go over what they taught or what you learned in your previous years of vet school? And do u remember some of the things in the previous years of vet school?
@shirelly3 жыл бұрын
I have this fear too, I'm worried when I get into vet school I'll forget a lot of content as soon as I finish the exam.
@yourvetamanda3 жыл бұрын
Honestly, it depends on the class/content! There's some things I learned in first year that I still remember in third year. But the majority of it I don't remember at all. The nice thing is that important concepts are brought up in every year. So for example, acid base imbalances have been taught to us every year and finally this year I started to understand them really well! It does feel like a lot of the things I learn get forgotten pretty easily, however, it always surprises me how much actually sticks. After writing my hardest final in second year I felt like I forgot everything I had just studied. But now that some of the concepts are being taught again this year I actually remember more than I originally thought I did!

Hey Amanda amazing video as always.....just a quick question, how many times do you go through the content before giving an exam? Love from India 🖤
@yourvetamanda3 жыл бұрын
Hi from Canada! Thanks so much for watching!! It really does depend on the class and how much content is on the exam! Sometimes I only have time to get through the material once or twice, other times I can read through everything 3-4 times!

Hello! I really enjoyed this video. I have a quick question for you. I'm only in high-school, but I want to be a large animal vet someday. So, I was wondering what pre-vet school is like and if there is anything that I should do in high-school to better prepare myself for pre-vet and regular vet school. Any tips or pieces of advice would help, have a great day/afternoon/night!

How many questions are typically on one exam?
@yourvetamanda3 жыл бұрын
It really depends on the exam! For this one it was around 40 questions with a mix of short answers and multiple choice!
