I plan on making this video into a series showing my progression with wheelies over time. How long will it take me to become an elite wheelie master? Only time will tell

Since i am learning to do a wheelie, i can relate to so many things you say hahahah, it gives me confindence knowing we have the same struggle. Maybe a tip if someone is watching and is learning wheelies, wear protected clothes, that helped me alot becoming less scared. Great vid!

Damn, I see your progress in the wheelie game. What strikes out the most is your confidence level when at balance point compared to this video. I'm going thru the same process, trying to get the front wheel up higher and being more comfortable at balance point. It is a scary feeling if one is not used to getting the front wheel that high. Feels like the bike will loop but I can say that the use of my back brake is much more ever since I started learning wheelies. I am much more in tune with the amount of pressure I apply the rear brake now. I almost use the back brake more when street riding too. You videos are a good inspiration for noobz about there getting started in the wheelie game. Keep it up.

Hey man wrote you before on another video. I bought a bike to learn to wheelie because of your vids bro. Like I’ve said I’ve been riding for 7-8 years but never learn the brake. Now that you know and went threw the process, wht is or are a good tip to really getting it down. It’s so satisfying to see your progression here on KZbin knowing that I want to do the same exact thing much props bro keep it up and I would love to hear a response from you brother..

Antlive860 most important thing I’ve learned is it takes a lot longer than you think to learn. You gotta be dedicated to it and practice a lot. SEAT TIME is the best tip

2SJ- Your bigtime inspiration for a 45 year old learning how to wheelie on a 2008 yz450! Im scared to loop back but I think I just need to do it to conquer that fear. But I was just wondering, are you hauling that 125 on the top of your wagon, or laying it down inside??? Or maybe you have a hitch mounted motorcycle carrier that I did not see??
@TwoStrokeJ Жыл бұрын
Glad I could help inspire you man! And no, I had a hitch bike hauler on the back of the wagon. So I can strap the bike down sideways behind it, it’s super convenient actually

Any advice on how to ensure I don’t wreck my bike learning to wheelie? I know I’m go down, along with the bike while learning but I don’t wanna mess the bike up in the process
@TwoStrokeJ4 жыл бұрын
Best bet is to get crash protection. Axle sliders, bar ends, etc. stuff that will hit the ground first to protect the plastics

I've been watching your videos on how to wheelie I also have a 2-stroke 250 KTM was just wondering how long it took you to learn and how long did you train for each day and what should be my first move by the looks of things I think I should be learning the back brake
@TwoStrokeJ4 жыл бұрын
100% the rear brake is the most important thing. Its what gives you confidence and allows you to wheelie past the balance point. I rode like twice a week. As soon as I got tired or felt like I was loosing it I would stop
@charlietaylor44774 жыл бұрын
I can get the front wheel off the ground but I'm having trouble keeping it up is that because of the back brake or my confidence

Bro im pretty sure all that oil is from mixing your fuel to rich..I mix my fuel at 40ml:1L and also your silencer/muffler probably needs to be re packed :)
@TwoStrokeJ5 жыл бұрын
I mix around 40:1 also. Probably a bit more lean actually. And I repacked the muffler a while ago in one of my videos, it made a bit of a difference but didnt solve the issue
@rideordiegoonies34715 жыл бұрын
@@TwoStrokeJ another thing that can cause excessive oil leaking in not riding the bike in power ban enough, you need to get your exaughts temps up to help burn the oil haha but it's not uncommon for 2 strokes to Leake oil that's just what they do :P sick videos either way man! Keep it up, should check out my page I just started making videos :)
