We LOVE these Mercury Marauders, like really really really love them but this particular car we love even more. Originally coming from ford the the 4.6 32V Ford motor under the hood, a very capable machine that shared most of it's DNA with a Lincoln MK VIII this one has been modified.... just a little bit. And by little bit we mean it's the best version of the Ford Panther platform you could ever possibly want.
A lot of what we do here at Lucore Automotive is helping people with their project cars with things they just can't do themselves or don't have time for. It's not always about the builds for us but about helping our customers keep their existing rides on the road and as good as they can be. In this case we had been tasked with a simple front sway bar upgrade and a rear shock swap for a set of QA1 adjustables. No big deal right? Well as almost always things didn't go QUITE according to plan.
Something you all have hopefully noticed is we do our best for each and every customer that comes through our shop doors. You don't have to be a big Automotive KZbinr yourself, we give our all to each and every ride that stops by. Sometimes they go quickly just in and out the doors, sometimes they require a little bit extra. Either way the work is done, done right, and done honestly.
Huge thanks as always to all our subscribers, followers, fans, and customers who have made our business successful and gotten our channel to where it is today. Special thanks to the SRC / Street Racing Channel / SRC Garage / Old Man's Garage / Junkyard Digs folks for showing such amazing support for us over the past several months. Without all of you we wouldn't be anywhere near where we are today. We hope you enjoy this one!

The last of the land yachts. Such a beautiful badass car. A performance land yacht is beautiful in my eyes. Also shoutout to the mechanic in the video for being gentle to the car knowing only 11,000 Marauders were ever made.

Just did shocks and front brakes on my Squarebody before I went to the Rod Runs this past weekend. Made alot of difference in the ride. Need to change up my wheel and tire package. Little too wide up from with 265/50r16's 295s in the rear. They atleast need a rebalancing maybe. QA1 has awesome stuff. Wish i could afford it. I'd prolly paint mine first though 😂 was alot of Sweet Rides down there this year. My favorite was a woodgrain Country Squire Wagon. Odd and Cool.😎

I've seen Sam run cleetus back at sick week it was quick and a few others found out how quick it was I personally loved both. Awesome job rich keep up the awesome content and as always be safe 👍

Don't you just love having to modify brand new parts so they will fit! I worked 35 years as a flat rate Ford tech. Some customers understood being charged a little extra for the time modifying aftermarket parts, but others would complain about being charged more than the estimate they were given. The service manager would often deduct the extra charge, which meant the mechanic didn't get paid for the extra work. I looked at it as being a donation to charity.

@midnight347
@midnight347 6 ай бұрын
The marauder came with a 4v motor stock it has a blower on it it may be built too. That isn't the kind of blower that goes on terminators. The marauder had the same engine as automatic Mach 1s. They're like 302 hp stock or something like that. It was decent for 2003 but with little work like this one it can have alot more. Forged bottom end and boost and you can make 600-700 to the wheels without even trying.
