Thank you so much for explaining the Biblical meaning of submission since my very abusive husband likes to twist this meaning of scripture against me and I am in no way on an equal level with him. He is very much my ruler as he believes. And I have no rights according to him. Very little kindness or interest is shown to me. I am an object not a person with feelings. That’s how narcissistic abusive people role unfortunately. 😢

This is an example of perhaps the number one reason for confusion regarding what the Bible teaches regarding marriage and submission. And God knows, I don't...how right "this lady" is or not right...
