Hey Kev 😊 looked a lovely countryside walk that. Pretty little church and rolling hills. The woodland sections looked nice and the abbey. Looked like this walk had a bit of everything 😊

Thanks Yas. It's a nice part of the world. I'm trying to venture into new areas when I get the chance.

My back yard Kev. I see that you walked part of Y 100 Sir Fynwy in reverse. You'd have seen square reflective markers on the stiles to aid navigation at night time too. Thanks for showing some of the paths that many avoid as they stick to WVW and ODP. Glad you got to visit Penterry too.

@@morgs4mountains a nice place. I've not done much of this area so was good to explore a couple of new paths. I wouldn't mind doing more of the Wye Valley at some point, but so many paths and so little time.

@TheWalkingKev and the best thing to know is that every path on the map works on the ground all the way up to Monmouth on both sides of the river. The opportunities are endless. I once led a walk from Whitestone and called it Circles of Confusion. 17 miles and never more than 4 miles from the start!!
@TheWalkingKev3 ай бұрын
@morgs4mountains that sounds a great idea for a walk! Yes, I was impressed with all the footpaths going off in each direction, as shown on OS maps. Which certainly doesn't happen all the time.

Nice video Kev, lovely scenery. I have done a video from these locations too really enjoyed it. That must have been a very long walk though? How many miles was that? Cheers, Adam
@TheWalkingKev3 ай бұрын
@@adamradford2285 about 11 miles. It felt fairly gentle with only a couple of sections of ascent.
