Expat Life Ghana

2 жыл бұрын

We have been making content on this channel for a year… so IN this video, we are reflecting on a year in Ghana and what it’s been like as an American Expat in Africa. We talk about what has changed for us in our new Ghana life, what it's been like this past year moving to Ghana from the US, and what we've been up to living in Ghana.
And don't forget some tips on how to live in Ghana with all our successful and failed efforts... Plus, we share what's coming up on the channel.
👉🏽 Follow our black family blog channel as we relocate from Texas to Ghana in 2020. We go beyond the return and talk about what it's like as a black family living abroad. We’ll share with you all the ins and outs of expat life with weekly check ins and monthly live events. Join this diaspora vlog and hear about Ghana living and moving overseas with your family by subscribing now. Then comment below- what do you want to know about us or about living in Ghana?

Greetings Expat Life Ghana, wow, has it been a year already? I remember the day the family moved to Ghana 🇬🇭. I will be needing your Ghana tourism service in the future once COVID panic subsides a bit as I am approaching my elderly years very fast, until then I am loving your awesome content of your experiences there as well as a wealth of needed information on Ghana rules, regulations, and oh wows 😂. I also want to visit the capital of Rwanda as the country is so so clean and developed. Continue to have an awesome time in our African home and I look forward to using your services going forward. Yes, Expats in business sounds good as well as the COVID panic in Ghana 🇬🇭. Thanks for sharing.

Me and my girlfriend will be visiting Ghana someday. She's South African and I am American. She likes to travel and mentioned a few different places in the world she wants to see. I mentioned Ghana to her as a place in Africa that i was already interested in going before i met her. So we talked about going to Ghana. She wants to get married in Italy though. lol.

About the trash collection, yes indeed something is happening. A clean-up initiative was launched a couple of months ago. Ghana wants to model Rwanda so the Ghanaian government even went there to learn every step of how Rwanda implemented its clean-up program. So get ready for a dramatically cleaner Accra in the months ahead. Congrats to Tony, Ayo and the kids for your one-year anniversary and thank you for providing a year's worth of great content!

I like your hair wrap and Mr. Tony , the T shirt looks nice and neat. Somebody told me to drive in Ghana, I said no,because I know the way they drive.

The interviews are good, but I love hearing from the two of you. BTW, have you contacted the federal government about how hard it is for residency? It seems the the president would want to make it easier for the diaspora. So much time, money, and effort went into the Year of Return, but the agencies seem to be working against the effort.

Congratulations on your first year anniversary in Ghana 🇬🇭 👏👏. I am grateful that you are spring chickens with the energy and enthusiasm to organise tours. As a retiree I look forward to a visit and will need to be sure about the best time of the year to visit. It sounds like I will need to visit with an empty suitcase so it may be helpful to know what items and products are needed from here in UK.🇬🇧

@AyodeleR - Come with two suitcases, one for the essentials the other for everything you bought to go home in. We started the tour company with the hopes of it being something the kids can take over eventually and thanks for the comment 😊!
