A Year of Mountain Life Together | Special Bond Between French Lacquer Master & His Chinese Students

In 2023, we went deep into the Daba Mountains to document the story of French lacquer artist Vincent and his creations and life in rural China. Over the past few years, the lives of Vincent and those around him have undergone significant changes. In a small wooden cabin studio in the mountains, the apprentice Dandan is living with her teacher Vincent and his family. They formed a close bond, connected by their shared passion for lacquer. Now, after living here alone for a year, Dandan is about to leave the Daba Mountains and return to the city. Let's feel this sincere and simple master-apprentice bond together.
