Watch right towards the end of the clip. He pulled straight into my path by cutting the roundabout. Completely oblivious to the danger. Typical car driver, tunnel vision tomthe end of his bonnet, no idea what's beside or behind him. I thought I'd got him!

If you look closer, you'll also see that the red car next to the lorry is also over the line as well, What the hell do expect him to do, drive straight into them. A lot of people forget that a vehicle towing a caravan or trailer needs extra room to manoeuvre because of the extra length and those who are Complaining Should Try It ,and yes I have Experienced This being a former caravanner myself.

@@StewartGregory-z2n a truck takes mire room than a caravan. If your lane is restricted you never move into another lane without first checking it is clear and safe to do so.

Some of you are criticising the HGV driver, expecting him to 'take it on the chin' and himself compensate for others bad driving. There is too much poor road craft on the road today, some is people to full of their own self importance, others who just dont have a clue. When driving, concentrate on the road, in front and behind when there are converging or multi lanes. Some of the comments are clearly made by people who fall into the above category.

True but truckers are forever whinging about car drivers coming alongside them on roundabouts when they need room. the caravan driver did what truckers do on a daily basis.

All adds up as evidence for the authorities to force car drivers to take extra training and test to legally tow a caravan. They're failure to check the trailer in traffic is going to spoil it for everyone.

He had little choice because the lorry had gone beyond the give way line at the roundabout forcing him over in front of you

If he got round the roundabout and found his lane partially blocked then he should have stopped, not veered into another lane in front of me. You must drive and be able to stop within the distance you can see to be clear

@@flyfisher2426 do you know how many near misses the average trucker has a day due to idiots who should not be driving? DOZENS. Law of averages means collisions get more likely the more we drive

The problem with all these clips is the assumption that everyone else on the road is perfect, but of course no one is, every driver out there does something stupid or dangerous, and any that say they don’t are just delusional.

I found out to my cost, on a roundabout, if you cross a white line, you are at fault. Action was Settled through a Court/Judges decision. The Caravan car should have stopped
