They use an ultrasonic cleaner, but you can also use alcohol and a soft brush (Just be careful not to scratch off any components!)

Where do you get the Apple parts as they are acting like IBM'ers in the early days? Non industry standard parts ect. Even worse now codeing individual parts so if they are changed and are not recognised, so they deliberately impare the operation of it. They refused to service there devices if they found any non IBM mods or additions. The timer for our ebcdic to ascii converter for an Olivetti desk top computer, using their timing pulse from their 029, he said it was working perfectly. We found their timing belt need replacing had a tooth missing. Left ate and component level repair for home and international approvals job, just when the big bga's were introduced. We've come a long way from the intel 4004. Thanks for a great lesson in component level repair and video.

Louis said he isn't going to be doing board repair videos anymore, and he's going to focus on right to repair stuff. Board repair videos will be his employees now. I wouldn't rule out him doing the occasional video but I wouldn't expect them very frequently. I do enjoy Louis's snarky commentary while he's fixing stuff more though. But there will still be plenty of videos from him, just not focusing on board repair.
