why do we need to use RAT in Aircraft?

RAT (Ram Air Turbine) used only in an emergency. In case of the loss of electrical power or hydraulic sources are inoperative. The RAT will power vital systems (flight controls, linked hydraulics and also flight-critical instrumentation).
