Do you know what tells FWC that aircraft is airborne(i.e. Transition to phase 5)?LGCIU or Radio Altimeter? I tried to find it in fcom but I couldn't... I was pretty sure that LGCIU does it. But apparently, on contaminated surfaces, RA readings may fluctuate and trigger spurious ECAM alerts such as ENG DUAL FAILURE because the FWC assumes that the aircraft is airborne. But in my opinion, it is more sensible to use LGCIU data(shock absorber extended) rather than using RA's positive readings since the event that causes FWC to move on to phase 5 is "Liftoff".

Yes it is undoubtedly from the LGCIU only, infact some information related to this can be found under the heading "PROXIMITY DETECTOR OUTPUT SIGNALS" under landing gear chapter of the FCOM. DSC-32-10-20.
