No matter how much physics is explained about flight, something that big taking off is absolutely mindblowing!
@Clarkkent1634 жыл бұрын
I heard that the wings have to be bigger than the length of the aircraft itself, and four engines have to produce 10s of thousands of pounds of thrust in each engine, obviously alot more than that, but you get what I'm trying to say here though? But anyways, i still used to look up and i still do actually, but i still say to myself "oh wow, that is so bloody amazing! A huge 500 tonne machine or whatever can fly in the air without much problems!" Oh and by the way, airbus A380s have never had a crash, or any minor issues.... well, maybe minor issues but definitely not anything major, like a crash, which ofcourse is a really good thing, but c'mon now, how can something so heavy be one of the safest aircrafts on earth 🌎 🛩

In the big planes you don't feel anything but in the smaller ones every little turbulence feels like rollercoaster. I flew in a big Etihad plane to the Philippines but took a very small plane (like in this video) to boracay island. Guess in which plane I was nauseous scared shitless. In my 32 years I've flown over 50 times but I'll never get in a tiny plane ever again. 😂😂😂

Flew on one of these for the first time a couple of years ago. When the throttles are opened at the start of the runway, you don't feel sudden thrust like with smaller planes. It's as if the handbrake has been taken off and you start to slowly roll, then somehow it takes off without any feeling of travelling fast enough to do so.

@@lollo7768 "That's what she said" is an old joke of pop culture. It is like a "your mom" joke: a stupid reply which takes things out of context and makes them sexual. Anything that could be out-of-context regarding penis, penis size, sex etc. can be subject to a "That's what she said" joke. You wrote: "It's sooooooo big that seems to be at slo-mo! Very very impressive" -> That's what she said -> meaning: A guy is implying he had sex with a girl who told him "It [= your dick] is sooooooo big that seems to be at slo-mo! Very very impressive" You understand now? If you are Italian you should be familiar with this type of jokes. Italian (and Spanish) is full of wordplays and double meanings.
