Emirates A390 A6-EE0 taxies to then departs 06L at YYZ, dodging construction and making way for smaller aircraft along the way. Nice wave from the flight deck as they round the turn into the holding bay.

Thanks, Airbus, for designing such an imposing and strikingly beautiful aircraft. I always thought the Concorde was the most impressive, but the A380-800 is on another level.

I thought the 747 was the queen and the 380 the King! 😎❤️✌🏼

It's the airflow pushing on the underside of the wings and the acceleration of the airflow over the curved topside of the wings creating a lower pressure area into which the plane is lifted.

think thats seen from the Wendy's parking lot, an absolutely awesome spot to see the big 747s and A380s as they face you, then turn and wait to hit the runway and take off, the planes are even more awesome at this spot in person, great vid

Intéressant, une bonne prise de vue sur les différents types d'appareils qui défilent sur la piste d'envol, et bien sûr le 380-800, avance lentement et domine par sa masse tous les autres avions. ❤

The fun part there is a tiny little mosquito (Air Canada Express with table fan like propeller powered engine) following the majestic flying giant Falcon (with two EA super heavy lift and thrust Jet engines on each wing). A-380 aircraft development was the most adcanced in the history of mankind ever since the Wright Brothers invention displaying proof of concept. Orders for new A380s stopped a few years back due to high operating costs as reported by major Airliners all around the globe. 😢😢😢😢😢. I don't think we will see any leap in technology in the aviation industry in our lifetimes. And what we have already is sufficient to travel the globe at a reasonable cost for so many. For now we will have to satisfy ourselves watching the already produced aircrafts of this majestic kind in operation. My favorite is Dubai to NYC by Emirates (i once got a business class upgrade for free and that is at another level of super comfort intercontinental flying. 12hr of actual flying time felt like 3 hrs).
