HD version - So popped back to the UK for 20 nights to see my twin, this is the return trip to Melbourne Via Dubai. Much shorter flight, 6 hours 4 mins flying time and the 2nd leg was 12.5 hours flying time. Also has a clip of BA Concord in the background during taxi.

One can see how the wing is flopping down, and gradually bends upwards as the plane speeds up. Good start is at 4:03 until Rotation on 4:51, from where it's most visible. To enhance visibility of it even more, set playback speed to 2.0. :)

Taking off in jumbo jets is a cheap way to get the feeling of going really fast across land. Especially considering the road speed limit in AUS is usually maxed at 110km/h And then you think that this plane weighs 100 tonnes or so
