a518 transmission part 2

This is the smoothest shifting transmission I have ever seen in any vehicle. Whether it lasts well or not I can't say. I'm borrowing a 99 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 with an A518 right now, whats that nearly 16 years old? The truck was ready Wednesday at 4 PM to pick up after being towed in Monday morning after losing 3rd and 4th upshift. Then while attempting to limp in in 2nd it lost all gears as the pump had failed completely. The transmission guy said it didn't look like the tranny had ever been out but the transfer case had. This is one smooth shifting transmission and those guy's rocked a## on getting it back up and going.

Many many tanks for uploading this step by step video! Very helpful to overhaul my transmission. Without this video I would have read a lot about the transm. Thanks for the advices about checking the parts. I don't understand throlls, they talking about bad quality and sound etc. No problem, the quality is in the content.
