Does anyone else feel like he's the Bob Ross of KZbin car building? 🎨 🚗

I love watching this build and always look forward to seeing the latest progress. As far as interior, I think you should finish it to look like it a factory production car with carpet, carbon fiber accents, leather wrapped seats, steering wheel and dash pad, etc. Whatever you decide, I’m super excited to go on that maiden voyage with you (virtually of course).

Paint if your going to use as a track car and race it. Upholster for general use with the occasional track day. As you know, upholstering allows for the addition of sound deadening and insulating materials. Hearing your fine note of the engine noise will not be a problem as you can make allowances for this but road noise can be very tiring on any length of journey. upholstery with added insulating materials will also aid in maintaining a comfortable climate in the cockpit. You can still add painted or say carbon fibre treatments to selected areas of trim for aesthetic reasons. Nevertheless, I have no doubt whichever route you decide on, the result will be fabulous. Good luck and thanks for taking the time to share your journey.

This is a cool project. Gonna be interesting to see the panels come together like doors hoods ext. Upholstery for the interior would cut down on road noise n ya wouldn't have to worry about scratches. Kinda surprised a build.like this isn't EV there's just so much more flexibility there.

If you go paint I would suggest a texture maybe like Bedliner but not as rough? Carpet is always a good option. I personally plan on not using carpet for my supercar design because I want it to be like as close to a Jet fighter, Mech and Rocketship as possible. it will be raw and brutal.

As you seem to think of everything I'm sure you've got a plan for places to put a jack under the car. Is the fiberglass strong enough for such a point load?

1.75 times the fabric weight. Slightly less for a plain weave cloth slightly more for Mat. I know its harder for you to get materials, but is there any way for you to switch to a cloth rather than the mat? Better strength to weight.
