You picked up on rhythm changes and other things in this video that I may not have caught on my own through just an initial first viewing. It was obvious that this video carried emotional resonance for you, which is just a fancy way of saying that I could see that you felt this song and video. It was a touching tribute to a fallen friend, who happened to also be their former drummer. So much loss and death as of late, but if nothing else, it serves as an important reminder to live each day to the fullest, to not take anything for granted, and to cherish those close to you every day you have them in your life.

you were spot on it's a song dedicated to their drummer Jimmy the Reverend Sullivan. He had an enlarged heart that caused him great suffering and he took his own life as he knew he was going to die young anyway.

I think you'd really love the Avenged Sevenfold song M.I.A. M.I.A. means Missing in Action. It has huge Iron Maiden vibes but is a lot grittier and more aggressive. The solos are incredible and the story behind the song is very emotional. It's a huge fan favorite. Really compelling and really intense lyrically, and perfect for you. I think you'll love this band very much. The drummer on this song was Mike Portnoy from Dream Theater. As you can see, it's a tribute to the band's original drummer Jimmy "The Rev" Sullivan. He passed away from an overdose of alcohol and prescription medications for eye surgery and a heart condition, and Mike offered to record his parts on the record. The singer is M. Shadows, the guitarists are Synyster Gates and Zacky Vengeance, and the bassist is Johnny Christ. FoREVer is the main phrase of Nightmare dedicating it to The Rev. This band lived the video. So Far Away was written before he passed by Synyster Gates about his grandfather, and his father, called Papa Gates by the fans, recorded acoustic guitar on it in the studio.
