This album was beautiful simply bc of the simple fact that I heard Aaliyah & Static has a thing for each other but Aaliyah didn’t like to mix business with pleasure so she decided against it then static got married but they still remained very good friends clearly bc he did this album lol I heard static wrote that song ‘for a long time’ about Aaliyah

+Hashawn Edwards Yes. She started the album in 1999 and this was the first track they recorded in New York. The two "new" Timbaland tracks (We Need a Resolution and More than a Woman) were the last additions and the only ones recorded in 2001. "I Care 4 U" was a left over from the '96 "One in a Million" album sessions. She actually wanted to put that one on "One In a Million" but the album was already mastered and ready to go.

Aaliyah was the best to ever do it, sing sweet music and her dance moves flowed like fluid. Many imitate, none can duplicate. Beyonce, Ciara, etc will never be a legend like Aaliyah, she was ORIGINAL!
@tameralynn36895 жыл бұрын
Ummmm Beyoncé is already a legend, and sings better than Aaliyah
@danaholmes94314 жыл бұрын
Tamera Lynn She didn’t say Beyoncé wasn’t a legend, she said their styles are different, which makes them different legends. Aaliyah’s style was original, a lot of artists after her tried imitating her style like Beyoncé, Ciara, Zendaya, ect. And all of these artists, including Beyoncé have said Aaliyah is their musical inspiration. So if they say Aaliyah as their inspiration, they are going to imitate her in some ways. And Beyoncé doesn’t sing better than Aaliyah, they both can sing. Stop making it a competition.

Just discovered this song last night and has been on #repeat ever since. Keyshia Cole had it on her Instagram a dedication to her new baby daddy. But this is exactly how I feel about my Ex...it was the purest, untainted and unconditional love I have ever experienced. It let me know that I'd truly never loved in the past with all the others. I don't know what the other stuff was but A Sabila showed me this 'kind' of love. Blessings to all who've ever experienced True Love...because although you may not be together, it will never die. True love endures through eternity.

This song is one of her best kept secrets . Its not even available on Amazon music 😕 and its almost 20 years old. I have been listening to this song for YEARS. One of the most beautiful and sexy songs ever written! I miss you Aaliyah.
