How to: Install fitting on a Mabru 650GPH Pump without over tightening.

this is a quick overview due to instances where an installer will over tighten the fittings on our pump and would keep tightening until the fitting would break. After internal testing, we found that when teflon tape was used, it would act as a lubricant and cause the installer to over tighten the fitting with pliers. We recommend using a sealant such as 4200 or 5200 by 3M to avoid this problem or if using teflon, be mindful of force used while tightening.
