Great video, thanks. I have the TD-25, love them. Question. What gets the best sound to play live without the headphones. Is it just sent to the mixer or does it have to be connected to the computer in a DAW..

Nice! Thanks a bunch, I just bought one!

Great video and nice setup too. Is there a way to add your own sounds to this (if not now then via a future upgrade to the module)?

Amber Baker you have to know you got to know that God has truly anointed you to play the drums along with your other team of anointed players I will be praying for you that God will place you right in the right spot for an exciting new job that you truly enjoy.. the skills that you have are professional and highly anointed from almighty God. I have been so blessed by the sound and the expressions of the sweet flowing music that comes from the instruments along with your team members. I'm a drummer myself my name is Carol but I'm nowhere near where you are. Wall God to continue to use you and bless you and bring others to him through the skills that you have. You are especially blessed and highly favored of the Lord.

Jaen Mujica Hi Jaen! this blog from our friends at Roland US outlines the differences of each kit. www.rolandus.com/blog/2015/04/15/new-products-td-25kv-and-td-25k-v-drums-sets/

can you import soundbanks?
@danielidell9396 жыл бұрын
Looks like more drums than inputs. Are you splitting something? This has BD SN 3TOMS HH CR1 CR2 RIDE+BELL and AUX (other crash). How are you getting the pad to left of HH?
@Popcorn-vo7ng5 жыл бұрын
With the last aux input, even with the kv model, you have an extra auxiliary input for another cymbal or pad

I used to wonder why the TD-25 only has 16 kits as opposed to other brand names that have 70 , 80 or even 100 different kits. Am I right in assuming that the user is expected to use these kits and the other available sounds to develop a personal palate of stored kits as opposed to being lumbered with 80 other kits you dont really like?

Can you have two different sounds from a single cymbal pad? For example a crash and a splash on a single cymbal?

Yes its possible to add an other cymbal to the kit using the aux input on the module. What kind of cymbal do you want to add ?
@alexandersjolund63187 жыл бұрын
Firework YT I wanted a China that I could play around a little with. U know like stacking etc.

Great vid Mate. Everything was quite clear. Cheers. Everything except the step on how to save and name. I might sound right noobish, but every search I’ve done on how to name a custom kit has come to nothing. I’ve misplaced my manual so... wait. Why don’t I just look up the PDF.? Fuck it. I guess I’ll just check now. Why didn’t I think of that earlier? Anyhoo Mate, great vid. Maybe up date the save/name bit if you can. Cheers.
@jasonparker85704 жыл бұрын
Found it! If anyone is having trouble finding out how to name a custom kit, go to Menu then Kit, press the ARROW button on the bottom right corner of the screen until you see Kit Name, hit Enter and off you go. I’m sure y’all got it from here. Cheers. Thanks to Aaron Edgar for the tut.

Can you make the rims of the toms be cymbals?
@jonathangoldcomposer8 жыл бұрын
Yes
@ZandrielGrimm8 жыл бұрын
Actually no you can't. The TD25 module doesn't support that. It's one of the few kits out right now that doesn't have zone customizing. It's either the whole pad has to sound like that or not at all.
@JayDillaThaKilla7 жыл бұрын
Zandriel Grimm Zandriel Grimm what are you talking about? I own this kit, with every 'tom' i have two different sounds. I have a china, thunder and lightning sounding crashes, splashes, and i only have two actual cymbals for the kit lol
@ZandrielGrimm7 жыл бұрын
Are you sure you have the TD25? They have one up at Guitar Center and I couldn't get the rims to do it and even Roland says you can't. It's like the one set over $1000 that doesn't allow you to do that. The TD15 allows you to, however.
@JayDillaThaKilla7 жыл бұрын
Zandriel Grimm yes im sure its the td25. im not fuckin dumb m8, i dont just go spend $3000 on a kit and not know shit about it ahahahaha you kidding me?!?

I specifically wanted to know how to save the modified kit as a new name and kit without erasing the originating hit. In this case, still have HARD ROCK Rock 2 but a new kit with the new settings. When he go to that part, all he did was turn a knob to DR STACKULA. That did not help me at all.
@Popcorn-vo7ng5 жыл бұрын
There are 3 user kits on each group that you can use to make and save all your kits

Why do the toms sound so unnatural? :(
@noahale8 жыл бұрын
For me listening to them online and playing them in stores the toms have always been Roland's downfall, the don't use real samples which allows them to be able to act more like real drums but they don't sound like real drums, if I got this kit I might trigger it into something like Addictive Drums 2 or Superior Drummer 2.
@JayDillaThaKilla7 жыл бұрын
Alex Chung you stupid m8? This is the 3rd roland td drum set ive owned, they are all recorded with actual samples (the acoustic drum sounds im meaning) its just this guys video, the drum set is actually pretty damn high quality, i mean, if i payed $3k for a drum set that sounded like how this guy made it sound, id either kill my self or go on a killing spree ahaha all in all, this drum set is well worth the $3k
@oliverpearson15777 жыл бұрын
No matter how good these electronic kits are, the cymbals always let them down.
