Only drummers can understand how impossible this is. The amount of energy and cardio Aaron must have to hit the drums that hard... for that long ... song after song... concert after concert is quite astonishing. All that and he’s still singing... like wtf. Incredible. He has an off tempo signature style that no other drummer has matched. He is truly a legendary drummer. Mad respect.

The thing is everyone thinks Aaron doesn't know how to play drums because he puts so much power behind his hits that it doesn't seem like he has any technique but I've seen him play and when he's not hitting hard he has so much. Why I also love him is because he has so much enthusiasm and passion about what he does. I wish luck to both The Almost and Underoath!

his rudiments are absolutely flawless and he keeps such precise timing. you can not ask anything more of anyone while performing. not to mention his voice and the expression that comes along with it. its truly too bad he gave it up for something so petty as to be a "frontman" but the truth is aaron spreads the good news of christ in every way he possibly can and please do not forget he is truly blessed in every way so his work comes easily. goodnight yall.

The reason I said Travis barker was because Blink 182 was actually the first band i got into when I was younger so I always admired his style and I saw them live and he's amazing. But yeah I've heard of Matt Greiner, and Parkway drive is great too.
@ApacheScalper14 жыл бұрын
@DeadSpeakerBAJ i agree. another point is aaron doesnt use double kick pedals to the max like daniel does. aaron uses them like once out of 10 songs. aaron does repeat his stuff but they're just for a sec when he does it and daniel's repeating is more recognizable. they both have way different styles, but they're both amazing.

I thought that Daniel was the best person to replace him. After my favorite drummer leaving my favorite band, I was a little biased about Disambiguation. Though after a month or two, it became one of my favorite records. And Daniel was amazing on their farewell tour. Underoath didn't go downhill after Aaron, they're always been amazing.
@unresolved77714 жыл бұрын
Aaron was good in their older albums with that insane double bass, but up until his recent departure, he was more technical. but personally i like Jordan of As I Lay Dying, and Mike from August Burns Red..... and in my opinion, Lance Garvin from Living Sacrifice just takes the cake, he's just old school and brilliant. Lance has to be almost every hard/metalcore drummers inspiration.... all my opinion, so no hate please.

@ardiyiap i actually met him yesterday. he is really really cool, really down to earth. yeah i play around with untraditional fills every chance i get, but i kinda hold them back when playing with a band, unless iv been playing with them for a while. they tend to throw people off.
