Have to say that Kitty pulled off hauling those rocks. Did not think it would move that first one. I'm starting to feel sentimental about that Case. Kinda hoping it might stay around. The Volvo is impressive and might be more so with a thumb. Just seems thumbs are almost a requirement now. Whatever equipment shows up, you sure manage to find a job that tests the limits. It’s definitely tougher to support the wall from the river side when you can’t see where the rocks are going. It seems like the shot rock would work better the build up support but if the rock isn’t big enough then the current will move them anyway.

The mighty Ohio River. My wife is from a little town in southern Ohio called Manchester right down on the river. I remember going there to visit her parents and we would go catfishing in the river. Man, that was some of the best catfishing I have ever seen back in the 1980's. Probably still is. That steep riverbank looks sketchy as all get out, but Bubba Dump seems to handle it well.

This has been a great serirs to watch, and a great demonstration of your commitment to the community. I am curious, if the architect knew the wall was going to be unstable, would it have be possible to anchor the wall to the bank with steel cables to keep the fill from pushing it out? Monday morning quarterback here. All in all great job by you and your team. Aaron brings a good element to the mix when you, Matt, and Aaron are bantering it's like we are all working together and have fun doing it.

Some old loaders have lifting capability well in excess of what the old forks you can put on them will hold without bending. (Ask me how I know.) Also, are you in need of one fork that is at a 120 degree angle instead of 90 degrees? That was a fun one as usual, thanks for the entertainment.

That is looking really good. I know that this project is long done, but those two huge rocks that you moved with the loader, would be good to cap the end fill down river to keep the rivers eddy current from eroding your back fill. This makes me home sick for the small town on the Oregon Coast where I grew up. Something about small communities and how they can come together you don't see anywhere else. Thanks for sharing.
