A friend of mine lived in the same building as Modric. She said he was the nicest, most humble, unassuming man. It's always lovely to hear that a successful, talented person is also a decent human being. It doesn't always happen.

Lennon was such a dangerous player. I dont think I've seen a Winger with such incredible acceleration from a standing start. That first 5 - 10 metres he was absolutely electric.

Yes - but his end product was consistently poor - used to find him so frustrating to watch. In his best years under Redknapp/AVB he added a great defensive element to his game and really put a shift in.

Aaron Lennon, is a player that i will always have huge respect for because on his day he was unplayable with his pace, and close control. His weak point was his decision making with his final ball.. He always gave his all for Spurs, and England. I have the same respect for Erik Lamela.

Lennon was the reason I became a Spurs fan, I almost chose City because of Wright Phillips, but Azza on his day was unplayable. Could run faster with the ball than most off the ball, turn on a dime, and turn defenders inside out. Lennon between 2005 and 2011 was different sauce.
