Jesse was liked so much because even though he was a little bit of a punk bratt he had a heart and he was loyal and had a conscience he is the guy you want around when you are in need if you pay attention in the show he took care of his aunt practically moved in with her in the end took her to her appointments and brought her lunch thays why she let him have her house even though it didn't get put in his name before she died he feels bad for people who are sick or injured when he found out that Walt had cancer like his aunt it made him want to stick by him and help him cook more it's like they had more of a reason why they are doing this he understood they had to make a more money in less time because Walt might not have enough time left i think other than him being his teacher knowing he was going to die like his aunt did made him more loyal to him and he didn't steal money he might have stolen other stuff but not the money and he was a likable little cutie pie
