It's actually great news, why would the Jets want to win a single game left in the season? Their 3-9, might as well end the seasons 3-14 and try and get the #1 pick. Putting Tyrod Taylor in there now might somehow rejuvenate the offense and they actually might win one or even two of the remaining 5 games. If Aaron wants to finish the season and keep stinking up the joint then let him, the Jets draft position will get better and better as the season ends.

Rodgers only looked like a good QB week 3 against NE (Wilson gave him a good stat line that one game with amazing catches but Rodgers didn't look good in that one), ever since he's been clearly a lot less mobile and has been so-so at best most games. Granted special teams/kicking has cost them, other stuff as well, but he's not doing anything to help win games, at best managing. He's still a starter but only barely, like QB 28 overall, was hopeful he'd have a good year but it is clear the Achilles injury has really affected his gameplay.
