What a great pistol!! I owned the Wembley version a few years ago. It was fantastic for indoor shooting in winter due to the adjustable power levels. The adjustable foresight is set for 6 and 10 meter distances and you flip it accordingly to you chosen distance eliminating the need to adjust the rear sight each time you change disciplines. A brilliant bit of engineering thought! I would buy another at the drop of a hat but at the moment wifey is monitoring my collection and would disapprove! Great video again, see you next week! @@robinturner4913 A friendly word of advice about stirrup pumps in case you didn't know. The air they produce is not as dry as the air from a diving/gun tank. It's worth having your gun serviced at a gun shop each year to ensure condensation hasn't built up & corroded the rifle's cylinder. You shouldn't have any problems as your pump appears to have a built-in dryer but it's always best to check. 3000 PSI in a rusty tank isn't a good! My Air Arms owner's manual mentioned stirrup pumps in the maintenance section.

I have the .22 version and it's very impressive. I find it extremely accurate and sure packs a punch. The first time i used it, using beer cans as a target, I thought I was missing every time (most unlike me). Upon inspection, it revealed that the pellets were going straight through. In fact the first shot had pinned it to the railway sleeper behind it, hence it was not moving with subsequent shots. Upgraded to a baked been tin (which is considerably thicker) and the pellet also went straight through and out the other side at a distance of approx. 10M. This is a great pistol.

You don't need high power for target pistol, you need consistent power, the same velocity each time. Under 400fps is sensible. There comes a point where excess gas going through the barrel disturbs the pellet in flight. And then there is heating, the more a gas is compressed the hotter it gets, which leads to inconsistencies. A compression pistol or spring pistol often take a few shots to warm them up before they come on-song.

Decades ago I had a 1 pump pistol that cocked slide up and forward. It broke after a year, maybe 300 shots. It looked great, and easily took down pigeons at 25-35 feet, which is what was needed back then. This pistol looks pretty decent. If I were a youngster, and wanted to shoot in the backyard (city), that might be cool. You could put in in your backpack, and ride to your pals with it much easier than a rifle. That ergonomic grip has the same lines as the pistol I had back around 1987-1998. Beeman made one also, and it was like the one you have shown. The Beeman worked better, and lasted longer.

Hi there i have the webley alecto mk3, with the tool to unscrew the end of the barrel for the "moderator", thats meant for it so it fits perfectly in the cut out in the case. It doesnt really moderate it that much though and still puts out a hell of a crack. I actually put a air arms moderator over it "push fit" style and that works well, i just unscrewed one side of it and there you go, i just slide it off when puttin it away. When i first picked it up i thought "wow its like a plastic desert eagle copy or something. Its chunky though but doesnt look that powerful at all and was left rather underwhelmed. That is so far from the truth, when you put some pellets through it. This bad boy is no joke. Its a powerhouse surrounded with ballistic polymer and very accurate as well, they state recoiless but i do get a slight bit of muzzleflip at 3 pumps. The open sights are great although i put a nano lazer on the weaver rail underneath for kicks really. I have small hands but the whole of the grip and even trigger are completely adjustable, even being able to turn the trigger blade so that you can nestle your finger into it, almost like you are wearing it. I have had mine for around 5 years now with no issues although i look after by cleaning the barrel with the included barrel brush and oil the valve and piston seals with pellgun oil which even has tiny holes where you drop the oil into. Just a drop or 2 every couple of months even when not using it. Mine likes a diet of. 177 rws superpoints or bisley magnums and crosman flatheads for paper punching but it also likes h&n prometheus excites and thunderbolts if you want to punch through something. They all perform well. It would be very capable and up for tasks at close range up to 10metres, but no further. But you can reach alot further for target work. All the best from lancashire.

I have 2 of these and they're gorgeous! I've no stock, yet, mostly because you can't put a laser on it, under the front, with the shoulder stock on it. Three pumps is a swine to bring back home, though. I've only once tried it on 3 pumps, for that reason. On that 3-pump shot, the pellet hit a block of wood, bounced back at me and embedded itself in my chest, THROUGH my shirt. I needed tweezers and a darning needle to get it out of the flesh on my chest, and a shirt was thrown away. I think that the metal-hair brush should be switched, though, to a nylon bristle brush - repeated use of the metal brush could cause trouble with the barrel's inner smoothness...it's hard to say, for sure. I just bought my own nylon stiff brushes and used those, instead. (A left hand grip, and an ambidextrous grip, are available, but you could be hunting for a long time for at least one of those.) The quoted price in the video, of £275, was precisely what I paid for each of my babies...I love them. So would you!

At long last a "target" video. Air weapons have millions of variations other than just middle aged man sized PCP hunting rifles and bullpups. Its about time we had a video on a target work devices. You could do a video explaining say paper target guns from beginner basics and entry level cheap to medium to high end to full blown para olympic level. Why not bring someone to the table with their. British Para shooting has players all over the UK and you could get one of them in to show off their air pistol/rifle as part of that video. Hell even a bell target rifle could get thrown in to the mix. you have done an intro into rifles and co2 and pistols. Why not a "how to start"in target shooting at home. Thats going to push people towards clubs and thats not a bad thing for any sport. Even throw in a paper target review at the same time. Been a long time since we went down range rather than large wallet up range. Love the videos and your hard work, biggest supporter and thorn in your side. As every deepest regards Pete

It looks like a desert eagle so that's a good reason to get it if the sights, grip, safety, trigger & price didn't have you convinced. Steyr, Morini, Pardini, Feinwerkbau, Walther & Tesro will wipe the floor with this thing any day but considering what you get for the price it's a highly respectable choice for beginners.

I had a real job trying to find a pair of scope mounts for mine, as for some daft reason there is only one slot on the rail, I eventually found a pair on ebay though they were only sold as single mounts. It moderates well if you fit an adaptor and is almost silent on one pump. The lower rail is where the optional shoulder stock clamps onto, which would make it very useful for close range pest control, though they're expensive and a bit fragile.

Great video, this pistol has potential as a club training option. It would have been helpful in the video to have explained if dry firing is possible as in the same way as the Gamo Compact.

Does anyone know if this can have a moderator fitted to it?? I don’t know if I should buy this or the HW45

Do you think it is crazy wanting to shoot this in a 10mts corridor in a flat? (May be noise suppressor needed?)

This gun reminds me of a gun I saw on eBay for under 40$ called a Beeman P17. Honestly, if I was in the market for such a pistol it had very similar power and accuracy from the reviews and description. I wonder if they are the same “under the hood” so to speak.

The P17 is a great gun, I love mine. It's a single stroke pneumatic and the air pressure comes direct from the compression tube when fired. The Zoraki uses a separate tank in which to build pressure so that you can pump it more than once. My P 17 shoots at about 400fps with 7.9gr. and about 360fps with 8.3gr. Very accurate, too. Had it about 4 years and no issues. For the price, they're a no-brainer and I wish they made more like it!

which is a better choice...Vector optics marksman 6-24x50 or Vortex optics Crossfire ll 6-18x44...this will be employed on a HAJIMOTO built UMAREX GAUNTLET .22

the vector optics are amazing, I will be doing full reviews in the near future. thanks for watching. Andy

It's a rather hideous looking thing, but it is a very nice air pistol. I've had it for years.

They should make one in co2 big cartridge

Nice gun. But after owning a cp2 you don't see the need for anything else for 20 meter or less target work. It's cheaper, comes with silencer and for the same money you can add a nice hawke scope. only thing i miss is more substantial grip in pistol format. Please tell me if I am wrong

Can you review the co2 pistol xp9 by Umarex and the Umarex sa9 pistol as a versus or individual review and also the Gamo pt-85. When you film the videos can you make sure there is a full action on how it works eg reloading shooting and then reloading again. Thanks great videos.

Fantastic review, actually owned the webley version of this gun when it first came out. The internals were black back then and neither calibre could be moderated. Inspired by andys review i just had to get my hands one so i purchased my zoraki in .22 today. It all came flooding back when i opened the box, only £229 new in my area of the uk. Shockingly accurate for the money, and what a fantastic trigger. No one seems to have mentioned you get larger front and rear sight blades in the box which for me are a lot sharper . But the front then doesnt flip between 10 and 20 metre setting. That said i would put a decent red dot on it at the larger distances (with my eye sight lol). One thing that i did remember from my webley was that in one sence you cant put it down but literally you end up with blisters off the polymer so you have to put it down, wish i bought it before lock down.

How much would this cost in US dollars? this pistol has the popping mechanism like a Beeman p17 but with the Beeman p17 you only get one pump
