2:05 people who are concerned about the gauge being on the front of the cylinder (and it is a valid concern) could always just keep a small mirror handy. I'm going to be building a shooting bench in my backyard soon, and I plan to mount a small mirror somewhere on it for exactly this reason. Reading a gauge at an angle from the side isn't ideal, because you can't properly tell where the needle is pointing unless you look at it straight on. Reading it from the side essentially introduces a parallax error. Using a mirror still means you're looking at it from an angle, but the mirror makes the angle much smaller, giving a more accurate reading. I guess most people just make sure the gun is empty and decocked before looking at the gauge, but I think pointing the muzzle of a gun at your face is just a bad habit to get into. Everyone makes mistakes from time to time, and even seemingly over-the-top safety precautions can make good habits. It's all about having several layers of redundancy. You know for sure the gun isn't loaded, until one day it is.

What if the manufacturer reprinted the gauge face in reverse and mounted a swivel cap that held a small mirror on the inside of the cap so when viewing the pressure the user does not have to put themselves in any danger to the muzzle end of the rifle the cap would also protect the face of the gauge.

Here in Chile that little thing is the most popular and economic pcp known as PR900 It comes regulated (R) and unregulated (W) versions, It cost something about 150-200 EEUU dollars, and without the power restriction of 16 joules It gives about 15-20 shots before having to refill. Is the same as diana stormrider, and also very close in its specifications to the XM1 Stoeger from Beretta but this last being very diferent in his outside. Good pcp for starters 👍
