An excellent presentation of a very nice pistol , but has it got everything and really hit the proverbial bulls eye ? , not really , for Me I want a rifled barrel and in an ideal world a blowback feature as well , yes I know pellets don't stack very well in a magazine and crushing issues can occur . well there are plenty of revolvers out there with lovely cartridges to place the pellets in and keep them straight . Perhaps the manufacturers could look at doing a short 9mm rimless cartridge , maybe 9mm x 12mm so there's still room for the CO2 cartridge in the grip . Boom there we go , Blow back rifled barrel authentic looking service pistols for the air pistol / replica enthusiasts among us . Oh if only it was so easy ! . We can all live in dreams . Thanks Andy . Shoot Straight Stay Safe & Stay Well .

What a fantastic combination: rifled barrel, blowback and the brilliant idea of using 9mm cartdriges for the pellets! I would be so proud if this would have been my idea. Hi there. quick question. From what I have picked up from a few people on a forum post, I have seen that most people stop shooting after 6 magazines (They say that it is okay up to 8 magazines but prefer to discard the CO2 bulb after only 6) .. I don't understand if they take the CO2 bulb out whilst there is still gas in there or just run it dry? .. Is it safe/bad for the gun to take the bulb out whilst still under pressure?. I have been dumping pellets into a random object until it gets super weak and then dry firing till there is almost no pop.. Seems like a waste of pellets and im sure dry firing is not so great for the gun either..

Just got one of these yesterday, Wow!!! I can’t believe the quality of this compared to my Glock 19x and Sig M17, they are like toys compared to this. No rattles or loose slides and feels really solid. A friend of mine who is ex military (Parachute regiment and a certain regiment based in Hereford) who had shot the real steel M9 when working with the Americans and didn’t think much it. When he handled this even he was surprised at how good the quality was. For a heavy gun it feels really balanced and fits my small hands comfortably. The only gripe for me is the printing on the sides of the frame and slide. I would have preferred it to have been stamped into the metal and left the same colour as the gun. I love the finish and reckon it will look even better once it’s weathered a bit, my guns are for shooting, no cabinet queens in my collection. Already told the kids not to throw any cans away as I think I’m going to need a lot.
@transsimracer5003 Жыл бұрын
After watching g this review I went out and bought an M9 a3 full metal black, I have to disagree with your comment about being good quality, first time it was used it has worn the finish off the barrel where the slide travels over the barrel... Pretty poor for a fun at this price point.

I actually have a question. I've been away from shooting for 6 years now (since moving to UK). So... I used to have Umarex/Walther CP99 from ages ago when it was released, of course the 8-drum mag and all. Now... My simple question is does the "blow-back" come with noticeable energy loss as from what I understand it's mostly a gimmick?
@pandurlolgg57802 жыл бұрын
Well, it's not only a gimmick, it's used to load a new round into the chamber, like the real deal. But there is indeed a power loss. It's not that much tho.

Velocity not entirely dependent of the weight of the BB … temperature plays a BIG part when it comes to CO2 👍
@jeffslade18923 жыл бұрын
Not entirely. If the valve has been set up to self-regulate then CO2 will obey the Gas Laws, plus a time factor. The valve is held shut by the pressure inside so the hammer will open the valve for less time when there is more pressure and vv. So you can get a pretty consistent fps. What you will find is you get less shots per cylinder on a colder day. There is a fine line where this happens but it is the same principles as a gas bottle regulator where the high pressure in the bottle is balanced by a diaphragm and a spring against the ambient pressure of the atmosphere.
