Stepdad dying makes me wonder if they were exposed to a similar toxin and it wasn’t just genetic. I grew up in an old mining town that also was a cancer hot spot which it wasn’t before the mine. Granted I expected to be the one with cancer but it was my husband who grew up in a nice healthy place that was so genes make a huge difference. The one thing my family doesn’t have a history of is cancer. Either way that guy needs to keep up with those well visits yearly if not more frequently.
